Apple launches no sound issues program for the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro

Apple Today launched a service program for the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro models.



Apple has launched a new service program for both the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro users who experience sound issues when you make or receive calls due to a component that might fail on the receiver module.

The affected iPhone 12 or 12 Pro devices were the ones made between October 2020, and April, 2021.


So, for those who are experiencing this issue during calls, Apple suggests you to:

  • Find an Apple Authorized Service Provider

  • Make an appointment at an Apple Store

  • Contact Apple Support to arrange mail-in service via Apple Repair Center


For the other iPhone 12 models (12 mini and 12 Pro Max), these models are not affected and not part of the program.
